Reputations. They're things people usually obtain without asking for, and seemingly applied to everyone no matter how true or false they may be. Do you know the saying good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught? Kaillie Adams has the reputation for being your typical good girl. She's nice, smart and gets good grades. She's even dating the school's quarterback, Zach Holden. But since childhood, one of Kaillie's best friends has been Carter Williams, who has recently gained the reputation of being the school's resident bad boy. That's not exactly someone a typical good girl would hang out with, now is it? Because there is always more to someone than what meets the eye, more than what labels society gives them. It seems everyone has a reputation. But the thing is, they aren't usually right. Chloe Jefferson: rich, popular and fashionable. Her life seems perfect. Why wouldn't it be? She had the most popular friends in school, all the students cower before her and she's got the highest position on the school social ladder. But even someone as perfect as Chloe has a secret, one that she'd try to keep hidden at all costs. Felicity Bloom was labeled a nerd from day one at Evermore High for sticking her nose in books instead of socializing with her peers. She ignores the taunting that came with being made an outcast, seeking solace within the pages of her favorite novels. No one had ever thought that strange, quiet Felicity had once been so vastly different. When fate forces both teens to unravel their secret pasts to each other, they learn that they're more alike than they realize. And with that mutual understanding between them, an unlikely friendship is born. P.S. This is not a lesbian story so I'm sorry if the description gave that impression.
