Helloo!! My name is Steven, and I am a story-writer!!

This story is about two young female teens. Their names are Kai Thomas and Nova Insley. They are dating. However, they live very far away from each other. Kai lives in California, and Nova in Maryland. Kai really wants to meet Nova in person. Unfortunately, due to her parents, who have high expectations & are homophobic, forbade her from going. As a result, Kai comes up with a plan. A couple of days later, they snuck out of their house, and ran far away. She decided that she was going to walk the entire way to Maryland to meet Nova. Throughout her journey, she runs through many problems, whether it be almost dying various times, being hunted down by the police to bring her home, falling into a river and nearly drowning, getting hurt, having infected wounds, yadda yadda. Every day, she either loses or gains hope, depending on what happens. Will she make her goal, and reach Maryland to live with her significant other?

How bad could it be to enlist your female best friend into helping you lie to your Christian family about your new relationship with your male best friend and about your newfound sexuality? Not that bad, right? Right??? --------- Nova Queen and Arizona "Ari" Matthews weren't always close in high school, but after an intense and serious conversation in the library one day, the two become the best of friends until they go their separate ways their freshman year of college. Now in their mid 20s and freshly out of grad school, they are reunited in the park of their hometown where Ari asks a huge favor of Nova that she later wishes she had refused. But in the end, will she really wish she had refused? *FA spans a timeline from 2010-2020 to help the reader see how the relationships were built between characters in a partial series of flashbacks. It also helps the reader to really see into the minds of Arizona and Nova as they age, and the effect different life events have on them. It's a bit of a slower build and the plot is mostly seen a little later in the book, but I promise it's worth it. 🙂 *I do not own any of the rights to the music nor the pictures. *Rated M for language, sexual content, destructive behaviors, suicide, and dialogue that may be triggering for some readers. *These characters may do or say things that you don't agree or may get upset with, please remember YOU ARE NOT THESE PEOPLE, and their lives are a work of fiction and my imagination. Alex Wu needs to fulfill 40 hours of community service in order to graduate. Enter math tutoring. She meets Serena Chang, a girl she hates because in her words "she's too preppy". After unfortunate family ties, and undeniable feelings cause them to question their feelings, the two must make a decision. Let things go or give it another chance. Intro: I love Serena Chang One thing was for sure. A lot has happened. Let me start. I was never one to proclaim my love in such brazen way, but one has to wonder how it came to this, with me etching the phrase onto a table using a dulled-out scissor I had no use for, until now. It started like all common unrequited love stories. A meet-cute. Our meeting however, was not in the slightest cute.
