Alex chuckled as he downed another shot of vodka. He tilted his head in curiosity as he stared down at Scarlet. "Now, tell me, darling, just what have you, the Alpha of a proud pack, do to get mated to me? Why would your beloved goddess damn you to a life of chaos?"
"...Enough. I'm tired of your mind games. Just reject me if you plan to keep this act up." Scarlet growled, slamming her fist on the table.
"Oh, why on earth would I do that? I have to play my part in this show, don't I? The villain, the killer, the rogue. I have to fulfill your expectations of me." Alex sinkered at the sight of his mates face.
With teary eyes, Scarlet glared at Alex as she bit her lips in pain. Her heart ached as she watched Alex laugh his heart out. Alex had promised her one thing since the beginning.
