Tommy is just a normal overworking teen behind a counter, working at a café. His parents had passed some time ago, and with the fuck ton of money left behind he decided to buy a store and the apartments above it, turning the store into a café and giving the apartments above to those who need it.
What he didn't expect, was the attention he slowly gains. Fucking hell, he just wanted to live a peaceful and undisturbed life.
The unwanted attention directed to him was from Vigilantes, Heroes and Villains of all sorts.
By the end of the day, it sort of becomes a fucking clinic at night for all sorts of people and café in the morning.
Wait, did I mention he also has a power?

DreamCore and L'Manburg. Two rival kingdoms that break into battle when one sends a threat and attacks the other. Many think L'Manburg has the upper hand in the battle, considering they have The Blade on their side, who knows his way around a sword like the back of his own hand. However, others say DreamCore has the upper hand, because they have the infamous Theseus on their side, who everybody fears. Yes, his name is stolen from Greek mythology, but it suits him quite well. This man is not the best with swords, but he can shoot a mean arrow. Theseus is a strange fellow. Nobody knows what he looks like, for he always wears a mask and a deep red, hooded cape. His outfit consists of his cape, knee-high brown leather boots, black leggings, and a long sleeved red and white shirt. Along with the mask, of course, which is the same color of his cape and has strings of white pearls hanging from the mask. All anybody knows of him is his blonde fluffy hair that peaks from underneath his hood, and his bright blue eyes. And also, his ability to be stupidly fast and slippery. Now back to The Blade. Ah, The Blade, the Blood God, if you will. He's fought with Theseus twice in the past, and Theseus's body language, to him, is a bit...odd. People assume Theseus is at least twenty-five years of age because of his intense fighting skills, but in reality, he's a bit small for that. When you're up close to him, enough to where you can analyze him without getting an arrow through your head, he looks quiet thin for twenty-five. Of course, though, you cannot fight in battles unless you are at least twenty, so The Blade guesses he is just a small guy. Tommy had just recently moved homes. The one he left was one full of memories. Not good ones, but not necessarily bad ones, either. He didn't have much to live for at his old home, so he moved in hope of starting over and meeting new people. He had no more family, and his school friends had long moved on from him. In fact, the only number in his contacts was his mum's who was long passed away. Tommy was young (sixteen, to be exact) and he often forgot things. Usually just as simple as forgetting to do the laundry, or forgetting to reply to a notification on his phone that he received three seconds prior. Simple things that didn't matter. This time, though, he forgot to charge his phone before leaving his new, barely furnished apartment. He didn't think much of it. If it died, it died. No biggie, right? He figured he'd be alright for an hour or so without his phone. That is, until he got lost in the large, unfamiliar town that he definitely didn't even slightly know the layout of. He didn't know where he was or how to get back to his apartment, especially without a GPS. And then, when it definitely couldn't get worse, it began to rain. Tommy was soaked. He was cold, hungry. He cut into an alley and sat down against a brick wall, curled up on himself. He sat there for a while, and then heard footsteps. It was three men. The older one crouched down in front of him. "You look awful...Come with us, mate." But Tommy didn't want to. Wilbur Soot is a 20 year old scientist. A mad one, at that. Creating strange creatures and suspicious smelling liquids is all he does, aside from running away from heroes. Why he's half crazy isn't known, though. Wilbur is normal most of the time, but he sometimes just completely switches into a completely inferential person. Techno thinks it might be some trauma thing or that maybe Wilbur has some cognitive disorder or something. Speaking of Techno; Technoblade, or Techno, (who is also 20) is Wilbur's janitor/mechanic. Cleaning spilled radioactive fluids and Wilbur's assorted messes, and fixing broken tables and machines. This is his job, he does it every day without questions. He's aware of what Wilbur does, and that he's hiding from heroes and is considered a villain, but does he give a fuck? Not one. Techno wasn't always strong, but over the few years of breathing in toxic fumes, protecting himself from Wilbur's escaped experiments and putting them back where they belong, and helping Wilbur fight off heroes so he can keep his job and not be unemployed, he's gained some mass to his bones. Heroes think Techno is Wilbur's bodyguard or partner or something since he's always kicking the heroes butts, but really, Techno is just mad that they - for the third time in a month - blew a hole in his break-room after he had already mopped. ~~~ Story idea from @simpingboisinc on Twitter ~~~ Started: February 25, 2023 Finished: March 12, 2023Complete

He stopped to look over himself in the mirror. His hair was still dripping and he had a couple bruises littering his face. Tommy also took note of the small scrape at the bottom left side of his jaw. He definitely looked like he'd gotten into another fight. His family was definitely going to be worried about that, he might even get a scolding from his dad about fighting. He was not looking forward to that tonight. He sighed as he approached the door. Slowly turning the knob and pushing it open. Whatever he was expecting to find at eight something at night, it wasn't this. In front of him sat his brother in a wooden dining chair, with a few drops of blood on his yellow sweater, holding a handful of tissues to his nose. His father stood in front of him, ice pack in hand, black wings bristled from worry. They only seemed to stand up more as the older man looked over Tommy. "What the hell happened to you?" -Or- The SBI are a fully functional family, all secretly working in different Superpower Factions.

He called out again, trying to find his way through the room. His ears flickered up and paused. He nudged his heel on the floor, hearing a splash on the ground. He froze. Seconds ticked by as Tommy slowly took out his phone. His finger hovered over the flashlight button. With hesitation, he gulped and pressed the button. Light illuminated the dusty counter and unsettling puddle of pitch black liquid on the floor. He shivered, a rouge gust of wind seeping through the broken window. Grimacing at the sight, Tommy reluctantly stepped further in. Before having shivering cold hands being placed on his lower back. And being pushed into the sea of unknown substance. ------- Tommy was looking for his roommate yet luck wasn't upon him, and he somehow went from having healing powers to having wide spread wings, and different powers than before after falling into a puddle. Oh and he has black handprints on his back. That doesn't have anything to do with his sudden encounters of villains and superheroes.....Right? or After falling into a weird puddle, Tommy falls into the world of heros, vigilantes and villains as a mentally unprepared 17 year old child. ---- Heavily inspired by the song "Turn The Lights Off" by Tally Hall.
