Alex lives and thrives in a cell of people. No one knows that this cell exists, except of course those that kill, and those that are part of it themselves.
The Naorthans; Creatures that play the game of torture and murder of mere mortals. The only thing, is that this cell of people, the Knowing, have a deep knowledge of these creatures. These "mere mortals" are not to be the plaything of the Nao's, but are to reverse the cycle and counteract against them.
Alex is the best fighter of all of those that are part of the Knowing, but when something goes strange, she seems to go astray...
