Osamu Dazai is an ER doctor working his best to save his patients and live a normal life for once. But demons from his past have emerged again and dropped a new person into his lap, Atsushi Nakajima. Scared, wary, innocent and the most adorable child Dazai has ever seen, Atsushi has been placed under his care following an unfortunate incident.
Now Dazai has to navigate through parenthood and love with his chaotic pseudo-surrogate family "assisting" him in eccentric ways as well as unseen dangers lurking in the background.

Dazai and Chuuya have FINALLY confessed their feelings for one another! It's been a couple of months since they started dating, each going on with their lives, but, with a new blooming relationship between the two. But unfortunately, when your people like Dazai and Chuuya, not everything stays cheerful. Chuuya develops anxiety over the thought of Dazai leaving him again but decides not to let his mackerel of a boyfriend know for fear of hurting Dazai's feelings for mistrusting him. He does not want some 'anxiety' to break the relationship he and Dazai have been longing to begin. Of course, Chuuya should have known that he couldn't hide his inner thoughts from his intelligent (man's literally a detective!) boyfriend. Before the intro, I would like to shout out a friend. They requested the idea be made into a fic so here it is. Sunshine and rainbows, they say. When you're a child, it's easy to fold into the happiness of being a child. The world's weights don't exist for you. As we grow, we discover pain; Are we really discovering it, or have our eyes simply opened to pain? Their childhood is but a fuzzy memory, blocking away the mental pain. Even now, they can't quite remember if they had a family or if they were loved. Even as a port mafia executive, they don't have much. Their only true bond is with a boy who knows the betrayal within their heart. It should have been them, not the one who put the betrayal in their heart. When they are hit with an ability and their whole body and mind turned back into that vulnerable child, why is it Dazai who gets the job of looking after them?
