When Kara was 13 everything she knew was destroyed her home and her family was gone. What she didn't know was that she had 3 sisters that survived. She wasn't alone. My name is Kara Danvers. When I was 13, I lost my parents in a tragic lab accident, but I was lucky enough to be adopted by the Danvers family. Now, at 16 and a junior in high school, I thrive in basketball, playing alongside my older sister, Alex.
