"My favorite color is blue." Aurora bit her lip to block her laughter. How original? A son of Neptune liked the color blue. 

She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, glancing his way. Her cerulean eyes seemed to glow in the darkness. "Let me guess. . . you also love blue food?"

Percy's cheeks heated up, his eyes meeting her own. "Maybe."

The two walked in silence for a little while longer, nearing the boat after a few moments. Aurora shouldered hers and Hazel's bags while Percy grabbed his and Frank's. They turned and began walking back to the cliff where Hazel and Frank were.

After a hesitant moment, Aurora spoke up. "My favorite color is, and don't laugh." She sent him a look. A glare with no heat behind it. A glare that made Percy chuckle softly. "My favorite color is yellow."

Percy let out a loud, contagious laugh that echoed off of the cliff side. Aurora watched the years of stress and sadness leave his face as he tossed his head back, eyes crinkling with joy. Aurora soon found herself laughing as well, finding it hard not to when Percy was. They stopped and laughed for a while, Aurora's stomach cramping as tears of joy slid down her cheeks.

Percy inhaled deeply and shook his head with a wide grin. "And you're calling me 'original.'"

"Shut up, Kelp Head."

"Whatever you say, Sleeping Beauty."

"Out and about to explore the world, Dora?" A deep voice behind me laughed. Of course I knew who stood there but I thought he had left hours ago and would come back tomorrow morning to pick me up. He leaned casually against the beige wall of the garage and stubbed a cigarette out behind himself. "My dad will be pissed when he sees that" I ignored his question and pointed at the small scorch on the wall. The street lamps' light reflected in his blue eyes and made them look like they were shining at me. He pushed himself off the wall and with three steps he stood directly in front of me. I had to put my head back to look him in the face. "Want one?" He asked and raised his right arm. I turned my head to see a small box of cigarettes in his hand. It was dark outside, the only light came from the street lamp across the street and the stars. The light drew long shadows on his face but I could still observe it perfectly. Clear skin, full lips and long eyelashes. I shook my head and whispered "I don't really support smoking." "Yeah, me neither" he smirked and nodded slowly. I won't lie. He is really handsome and there definitely is a part to me that is attracted to him but I should really go now if I want to catch that train. -------------------------- Pandora just came back from college to visit her parents. But when they see her they seem everything but happy about it. Turns out her mother is not who she claimed to be and has a dark past which is now catching up on her. Percy was wondering the streets of New York one August evening, having left camp a few weeks earlier to go see his dad. He was finally going to start college in September and major in the Arts and in Marine Biology. He and Annabeth had broken up sometime during the summer, around the end of June. Percy and her were having complications in the relationship, and the trauma was a little to much; plus, they both wanted to focus on other things, like Percy wanting to explore his sexuality. Percy was walking by an alleyway on the way to a nice café he had seen the other day, when he smelt some monsters; having recognized it from the years of being a demigod, now having been doing this for about 8 or 9 years- and the week of being in tartarus. He pulled out his trusty pen, riptide, keeping the cap on for now; then walked deeper into the alleyway, hearing multiple growls from hellhounds and a slight hissing noise from one or two empousa. He dealt with them quickly, but not before getting a couple wounds on his arms and torso- and a blow to the head. He was littered in the horrible golden monster glitter that they left, he leaned against the alley wall, wincing. He glanced at the entrance and saw a group of young adults running towards him in the light from the lamp-post that littered the New York streets, noticing the three brunettes, a blonde, and a red-head with a orangish tent to her hair. His sword clanged against the ground as it fell out of his hand, the celestial bronze giving off a glow in the dark alley. He slid down the wall, his hand resting on a deep wound on his side. His vision starting blacking out as the voices of the group got closer and muffled.
