"My favorite color is blue." Aurora bit her lip to block her laughter. How original? A son of Neptune liked the color blue. 

She brushed a strand of hair behind her ear, glancing his way. Her cerulean eyes seemed to glow in the darkness. "Let me guess. . . you also love blue food?"

Percy's cheeks heated up, his eyes meeting her own. "Maybe."

The two walked in silence for a little while longer, nearing the boat after a few moments. Aurora shouldered hers and Hazel's bags while Percy grabbed his and Frank's. They turned and began walking back to the cliff where Hazel and Frank were.

After a hesitant moment, Aurora spoke up. "My favorite color is, and don't laugh." She sent him a look. A glare with no heat behind it. A glare that made Percy chuckle softly. "My favorite color is yellow."

Percy let out a loud, contagious laugh that echoed off of the cliff side. Aurora watched the years of stress and sadness leave his face as he tossed his head back, eyes crinkling with joy. Aurora soon found herself laughing as well, finding it hard not to when Percy was. They stopped and laughed for a while, Aurora's stomach cramping as tears of joy slid down her cheeks.

Percy inhaled deeply and shook his head with a wide grin. "And you're calling me 'original.'"

"Shut up, Kelp Head."

"Whatever you say, Sleeping Beauty."

But like Pandora's box nothing stays a mistry for long. The now 17 year old has been at Camp Half Blood for 9 years as she tries to grapple with her powers she was given and struggles to find some sort of normality within her hectic life, but what happens when a boy named Percy Jackson stumbles into her life? Will he affect her life in more ways than one? And how will he affect the relationships she's worked so hard to build. This is an au where Jason turns the Greeks over to the Romans instead of cooperating, and the resulting conflict ensues. Can the Greeks and Romans work together? Or will they both be torn apart in the end.
