After using the most of his car gas, he decides to check the town itself before buying more for his fuel tank. Then he meets the Williams Family, much to his curiosity, they have a young son who spend most of his time at the creek with all of his friends. At first he thought he's just like every other child he came across during his trip, but it made him suspicious for how the creek works.

And as for Craig himself, things have changed since he and his team won the capture the flag battle against the former king Xavier. But once he and his friends learns more about Steven Universe himself, the creek will never feel the same again.All Rights Reserved

So he just let it happen even though it was hurting when his gem was rotating but white diamond said that it might take awhile for it to rotate. So he was just walking around in pain but doesn't let it affect him and he didn't tell the gems of the new changes yet.
