The Point of No Return | Short Story

When nineteen year-old Rhys starts recieving anonymous mail containing fragmented pieces of a complete letter ten days before Halloween, it's all he can hope for that someone is playing an elaborate but innocuous prank on him. He is too afraid to put together the last piece of the letter when it is left on his doorstep on the last night of October, so instead, he gears up his inner-explorer and goes traipsing right into what is reportedly the most haunted manor in the otherwise mundane town of Havenfall.

Rhys keeps reminding himself that some questions are better left unanswered. But how will he manage to hold on that belief after discovering what he does at the infamous manor? Will he and his crew make it out alive, or will they be remembered as just another group of unsuspecting townspeople who let themselves be dragged into the curse that lurks inside the abandoned hellhole?
