Gossip, gossip. The emperor's brother was supposedly found on the grounds of the Foxglove Academy. Supposedly, he's so beautiful, the chancellor fell in love with him at first sight. But the investigation turned up nothing more than whispers. What are they hiding now? Too many scandals surround the Summerlins. Shameless, shameless. The family's heir looks nothing like her parents. Her mother was a skimpy bar-girl. How ever did she marry August? Right-hand to the emperor, he keeps two worlds under his foot. Do tell, what truly happened to their oldest son? The Summerlin estate - sprawling gardens and so many ghosts. Painted portraits of the previous lords lined up in the entrance hall like wordless secrets.

"A fantastical cross between the Beauty and the Beast and ACOTAR." A prince, a witch, and a wolf are tied together by the sins of their parents. Can they break free of the secrets that bind them, or will the Kingdom of Eidas forever be under a terrible curse? Dalia Leary, the eighteen-year-old daughter of an outcast Seer and a downtrodden merchant, lives in a city steeped in lore and magic, where the gods rule the seasons and the noble half-bloods rule the people. The kingdom of Eidas is down on its luck, facing mass starvation and economic failure from prolonged droughts. Dal's mother seems certain that there is a strange, simple solution to both their problems and those of Eidas'. Dal just has to marry the Prince of Eidas, Prince Tullvomm. Easy, right? Of course not. The Prince is nearly ten years her senior, and engaged to be married to the beautiful Princess of the East. She is nothing more besides a common girl from Bridgewater Avenue. Besides the obvious issues of his princess fiancée and her very un-noble birth, there's one other small little problem - Prince Tullvomm is never seen without his pitch-black wolf at his side - his beastly protector. The more Dal tries to get close to the Prince, the more the ghastly wolf seems to always get in the way. Dal realizes that to get access to the Prince she must either befriend the beast or slay him, and though part dog he may be, the beast doesn't seem the type to lie down and roll over. In fact, the more time Dal spends around the creature the less sure she is that he is a dog at all.
