With the tourism industry slowly coming back to Prague after the pandemic an ex-tour guide is faced with a horrible curse: 
Each night a panicked horse appears in his cramped Soviet-era bedroom.

A tale of magical realism set in the mother of all cities with notes of Kafka.



Originally conceived of as an interactive story for the r/nosleep subreddit but it wasn't able to stay posted there. Figured I'd give it a second life here on wattpad.

Arriving on Long Island during the beginning of the Monster Apocalypse, they have to confront everything that the apocalypse has unearthed on Long Island; emotional ghosts, savage monsters, serial killers, and crazed military men. From Wardenclyffe, through the streets of Suffolk County, to Camp Hero, and finally to the wreck of the SS Oregon off the South Shore in the Atlantic Ocean, they must find 2 pieces of Tesla technology. This will be the start of a cross country scavenger hunt. *18+ (or 25+) readers only please! Definite trigger warning for those of you who are sensitive! She's cursed to remain as a horse for the rest of her life. Her coat is colored black for her mother's transgression. Only for one hour every night her human self can shed the mane and the hooves. The only way to break this curse is to find someone who will fall in love with her. Kaelyn had always had her heart set on the wonderful and handsome prince Philip, but he doesn't even know she really exists. Nobody pays any attention to a palace horse. When the two of them are captured by common horse thieves, it is up to Kaelyn to bring Philip safely back home. It's a long journey, and they have many miles to cover. Perhaps prince Philip will discover that his horse "Aurora" is more than she appears?

"Well, why DO you want me here?" He sits back in his seat, and takes a breath as if trying to figure out how to tell me something. He finally says, "I'm lonely here in the lighthouse. And even though there's and unlock button, it only lets others in- it doesn't let me out. So I couldn't be with anyone going out, but if I let someone in..." he pauses, and smiles. "And then I saw you on the screen the first day I searched. I don't think it was a coincidence that I searched at random and found you. I think it was fate, Claire." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When Claire follows a dangerous dare to break into the 'abandoned lighthouse', she finds that it's not so abandoned, after all. It turns out that the owner, teenage Francis, is trapped in the lighthouse by a strong magic, and though he has everything he could ever want, he's lonely. Claire, now trapped inside, as well, starts to develop feelings for the lighthouse keeper... PLEASE NOTE: I wrote this story when I was twelve, and it hasn't been edited. The Crimson Vein virus is a sinister contagion that seeps into its host's bloodstream, altering both mind and body. The virus spreads rapidly through open wounds, cuts, scratches, and air (coughing and sneezing). As the infected seek to pass on their affliction through a feverish, almost predatory urge. Once a pony is infected, their veins begin to darken and take on a deep crimson hue, visible just beneath their skin, like sinister rivers winding across their bodies. Early symptoms include fever, intense muscle aches, and a throbbing sensation under the skin as the virus mutates its host. Soon after, infected ponies experience uncontrollable bursts of aggression, losing all sense of empathy or restraint. Paranoia and delusions set in, twisting their minds to believe that anyone untouched by the virus is a threat, compelling them to infect others. As the virus progresses, the infected lose their sense of self, becoming more feral with each passing day. Their eyes may glaze over with a red tint, and they develop a haunting, almost unrecognizable voice, distorted by the virus's dark grip. Those fully consumed by the Crimson Vein virus are no longer the ponies they once were, driven by a primal need to spread the infection-no matter the cost.
