What if Luz left the Boiling Isles months ago to be with her mom again and Amity's life has been going down since then? Her parents putting pressure on her, school being a lot and her crush leaving her before she could confess? What if that's already too much, but it gets worse when Luz comes back to stay on the Boiling Isles. What will happen? Will Amity finally confess her feelings? Or will everything go wrong after the two reunite?

Everything seemed normal for Luz at the boiling Isles until one day a speaker shows up in her Demonics and Monsters class, Luz felt off about this speaker until they mention something about their goal to catch a human in the midst of their list of monsters they wished to catch. After the encounter Luz has been getting random anxiety and panic attacks as she has a feeling they have something to do with the speaker. Who will Luz fall to and who will believe her? I suck at summaries/descriptions but I promise it's a good fanfic. (This is our first fanfic but we put a lot of effort into it. This was written after 'Understanding Willow' aired but this could take place anywhere between then and before she faces Belos. This is slight Canon Divergence but not much changed.) She got aggressive/abusive with Luz and school doesn't help, the second day of school comes and before Luz leaves she runs away and finds a house. Luz runs into it and turns out it took her to the boiling isles. But Luz has changed, she was mean, quiet, hostile and had mad trust and anger issues she also developed Hemophobia (fear of blood) and Traumatophobia (fear of having an injury). When joining Hexside the girls there were mean and harsh like the kids at her human school, but Luz learned how to stick her ground there at her human school. Luz would stand her ground and be mean to literally everyone that got in her way. Alongside this Amity is desperate to escape the abuse of her parents, but with no where to turn she is losing hope fast. Will Luz figure out how she feels for Amity in time? Or will the duo remain little more than friends forever onward? This story takes place after episode 17 but episode 18 and 19 never happened in this AU and Amity never broke her leg. At 17 years old Luz decided to run from home she manage to go between realms and ended up on the Boiling Isles. When she decides to stay and help Eda, the most wanted witch on the Boiling Isles, her life turns upside down. She has to deal with various threats, from the deadly environment, and tyrannical government, to her own demons. After a few months, she finally managed to more or less stabilize her life, no matter the outside threats but everything changed as a new foe appeared in her life. How will she deal with the new problem? Will fighting your way through be enough?
