"Ah...ha... Where am I?" Ladybug looked around. It was dark, total darkness. She then looked down her feet, and gasped. She was de-transforming... "Hello Ladybug," a voice said. "Oh, turns out the girl behind the Ladybug mask is none other than our own very clumsy Marinette." Ladybug realized the voice quickly. Suddenly there was light, and she was face to face with Lila. "Lila! Where am I?! What's going on?!" "Ladybug, or should I say, Marinette. I'm here to teach you that being on Hawk Moth's side is the best side to be on. He's the good guy. He can help you, and me!" "But I don't need help!" Marinette yelled, realizing that she was tied up. "Hawk Moth is the bad guy, believe it or not!" "Oh Marinette, I knew you would say something like that," Lila chuckled. "Which is why I'm here to change you." "What are you going to do?!" "Oh Marinette. If I told you, in less than a few hours, you wouldn't even remember," Lila laughed. "What... What does that mean?!" "Just sit and relax. I'm here to change you!" ----- When Lila captures Ladybug and tramples with her memory, Marinette is left to think that Lila and Hawk Moth are the good guy. Marinette was scared. Today was supposed to be a celebration of Hawkmoth the savior of Paris, and she had said that he was destroying the city. At the parade, in front of everybody, and Nadja Chamack got it on camera. She knew that Hawkmoth would punish her for it, possibly with death. She needed to disappear. In the homes of Marinette's friends, a text appeared on their phones. When Adrien finds out his dad is Hawkmoth after arguing with him about who made the scarf. While storming out the door his father reveals himself as the villain of Paris. He quickly runs to find refuge with the Dupain's will he find love through Marinette's help, or will she stay "Just a Friend" (ALSO I HATE THAT PHRASE HE LOVES HER SO WHY WON'T HE ADMIT IT!!!!) to him. Marinette has been missing for a week and no one knows where she could have gone. Ladybug went on a mission and she's left Chat Noir in charge while she was gone. Chat Noir has found Hawk Moth but Ladybug is not back yet. Knowing she trusted him, he recruited some of his superhero friends to help him take Hawk Moth down. The heroes knew victory was close and so did Hawk Moth. Hawk Moth decided to use the only ace up his sleeve, the only thing he knew would make the heroes falter. "Marinette Dupain-Cheng is... dead."
