I quickly fixed my hair and make up, when I went to find Luke he was not there where I left him last.I started looking for him, he was nowhere to be found. I almost searched the whole school, when I was passing by the music room I heard muffled voices so I just stepped in the room and who knew my whole world would fall apart...there in front of me was Luke kissing Rose... I guess Luke heard me walking in because he opened his eyes but rose unaware about me was still kissing Luke. I couldn't take it anymore I turned away, my back to him and ran...I ran and ran making my way out of the school, every step I took was a dagger to my heart...because each step which I took was a step away from Luke.... my Luke .I rushed inside my home into my bedroom and finally collapsed on bed crying my heart out...that's it... I couldn't stay here anymore knowing that my Luke was no more mine...I had to go somewhere away from here. If I stayed here any longer these memories which I had with Luke would haunt me...so with my decision made... My whole life is 'have to.' I have to work full-time to pay the bills and keep food on the table. I have to finish college for a chance at a better job, no matter how long it takes. I have to manage my mom's sobriety so I can keep her out of jail. I have to keep a smile on my face, so no one knows how hard it's been. Now, I have to ignore the curious feelings that flutter in my chest whenever my devastatingly handsome new English professor, Fitzwilliam Benedict, is nearby. Of course, that's kind of impossible because I have to face his storm-tossed eyes and broad shoulders in class every other evening if I want to graduate with my perfect grade-point intact.
