Her mother and father, status obbessed, often would remind her she was not her own person- rather theirs- their blood. Desperate to escape from a life she was born into, she tries to find a way to make her own future.

A revolution is coming, uprisings growing in number. The problem? No one knows. Jameson William McKendrick, crown prince of Etheria, is said to have it all, spoiled in the lap of luxery. However, it comes at a price, a legcay bought with blood. His parents turn a blind eye to the battles constatly growing closer, waving off his concerns and suggestions.
Their solution?
He find a bride.
Thrust into court, Hayes stuggles to navigate the tension-frought waters, shunned by many; forced to find her place in a play she doesn't know, and a role she doesn't want.
