"A blood exchange?" Cara asked, her voice sounding high and thin. She retreated another step away from him, jumping slightly as her back hit the wall.
He pursed his lips into a frown. "Nothing so barbaric as that. Oh no, all I'll require from you is a kiss." He leaned in until their faces were mere inches apart. "Do you still wish to make a bargain with me, Sunshine?"
