" So he can date anybody else, but can you?"
" I-I mean technically I can, but if I do I am afraid it will make him unhappy." Hermione said sheepishly. Draco's eyes flashed.
" Hypocrisy. He's playing you. He made this open deal knowing that you wouldn't date anyone else so you could keep him, while he could have two girls dangling on him arm. How can you not see that?"
Hermione looked at him scornfully. " Don't say that about Ron! it isn't true. he would do that."

Granger and Malfoy. Gryffindor and Slytherin. Selfless and Selfish. Hermione and Draco are polar opposites. So what happens when they are forced to work on a potions project together? A potions project that revolves around them finding their similarities.
As it turns out, maybe the Gryffindor golden child and Slytherin death eater might have more in common than they prefer. They both hide secrets, and they both still suffer.
Hermione is put on probation, and Draco is struggling to find the life he had before the war. What happened to easy relationships?
