SLOW UPDATES

❝ 𝐈'𝐯𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮. 𝐈 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐝. ❞

People don't know they have someone special until they're gone. That's what happened to Sage Morales and Sawyer Iglesia.

After their fifth grade culmination, Sage and Sawyer's paths led them in different directions. Going to different middle schools and not being able to say goodbye to one another left big holes in both their hearts that only the other person could fill.

So, when they accidently bump into each other seven years later, all of those feelings that they shoved aside come crashing into them full force. Sage and Sawyer begin to rebuild their friendship and realize just how much they really missed one another. But, they're not the same people they once were, both having insecurities that lead them to believe the other person deserves better than what they have to offer.

Can Sage and Sawyer fight for themselves enough to finally be with the person that they never stopped loving or will they let their insecurities win and have to say goodbye to each other for real this time?

Sage Gibson wasn't prepared for his whole existence to be uprooted and moved away. He didn't love his life, but that didn't mean he wouldn't miss it. Now he's in a small town where he pretends not to notice the looks some people give him. Maybe it's the painted finger nails? He doesn't care all that much. He's too busy trying to figure himself out and how much of his past is affecting him. With his family to worry about and his own personal puzzle that is his mind, he doesn't have time to care about what people at school think of him. He's happy enough with his one new friend and gawking at her hot brother. (He will never admit that last part out loud.) That's all he needs. And if said hot brother wants to become friends too? Well, he won't complain. Marc Yamasaki is normally a quiet guy. He doesn't like to talk too much and everyone has just accepted that. He doesn't have much to say, so why try? He's too tired of trying to get people to care. When a new boy shows up, suddenly his interest is piqued. The freckled face boy is good at basketball and he's a little cute. Sure, he likes to talk a lot, but Marc finds it oddly adorable. The only slight problem is his hesitation to join the team, and the fact that he might be flirting with Aria, Marc's sister. He can't tell if he wants to hate or like this guy. Then he finds out he's gay? Cherry on top. So, what happens when the two boys get closer while playing basketball? Their friendship gets to feeling a little... odd. What will they become when a new tension starts to settle over them?
