Their eyes would widen when Alice Potter told them her name. Only the funny dressed ones though.
When Alice left, she heard them whisper about her excitedly, ask if they actually just met her.
When people kept whispering, Alice stopped going out in the day. It wasn't safe for her.
People would stare. Someone would take her. The dark became her friend.
Alice didn't think she was anything special, just another human living on earth, without a family.
That is- until she went to Hogwarts.
The questions followed her to Hogwarts though, and so did the whispers.
