Branch is a poor troll who steals to live. Up until he's twenty years old his only companion is his remote, Gary. That is until he runs into Princess Poppy of the Pop trolls. She's looking to escape from her Royal life because her father, King Peppy, is expecting her to pick a king to marry, but she wants to marry for love. Unfortunately, he father's advisor, a sorcerer named Creek, banishes Branch to a prison, after learning of their meeting. While in prison, the teal troll meets a poor troll who asks him to find the Genie's lamp hidden in a deep cave. However after finding the lamp, Branch gets trapped in the cave and somehow summons the Genie, named Esmerald, who gives him three wishes for anything he wants. His one wish is to be with the Pop Princess, so Esmerald helps him out. But things spiral out of control when Branch creates a sea of problems. And when Creek finds Esmerald and she is forced to be his Genie, problems get bigger.

Will Branch and the Princess of Pop get to be together? Will Branch be able to stop Creek from taking over Pop Kingdom?
