Imagine every wish you have ever made or will ever make came true. This is what happens on a planet called 1, which is part of a chain of man made planets that use it's inhabitants as test subjects. The planet chain is called Trinity because there are three planets in the chain.
Each year, on ones birthday, he or she will have all the wishes granted that they made the previous year. No exceptions, or so they thought. Aaron clearly remembers wishing for a new dog, but it never arrived. Phoenix has a perfect memory and knows the exact day (Thursday June, 3) that she wished for the job of planet historian. Both people, as well as others on the planet, have the sneaking suspicion something or someone is causing the wishes to not occur.

Arian is keeping a secret that could put Trinity in danger. Giving it up could mean life returns to normal or Trinity is just history.
