When mysterious messages start showing up on Ruth's typewriter, she believes they're coming from a parallel universe. However, her brother Gabe believes she's writing them herself as a cry for help. Ruth has severe PTSD and is drowning in anxiety and fear. Whatever it is Ruth has tapped into, it has very real consequences, and Ruth finds herself in ever increasing danger. They'll have to find the truth before something happens to Ruth that she can't come back from.
