Twilight Sparkle's magical world is now completely frozen because of the Ice Spirit that suddenly attack their magical realm. Then the Queen of this magical realm sent Twilight to the unmagical world of humans before its too late, where she have to find the lost elements of harmony and the bearers of it. She became a student at Canterlot High School, a boarding school, where she met new friends that will help save the day. (P.S. Spike is not with Twilight when she came to Earth he is already frozen in Twilight's magical world)
