"We're sorry, were we bothering you?" He said sincerely.

"All things considered, just a lil'." I put my thumb and forefinger close together.

"We are really sorry for bothering you, but we need to practice." Luke said, smiling. 

"Could you practice at an earlier time, like, 4 p.m.? " 
"Nope." Luke said, popping the 'p'. I rolled my eyes at him.

"Well some people need to sleep, so could you keep it down, please?" 

"We'll try." Michael turned the volume down. I walked back to my condo. I laid down, not hearing any music. I was almost asleep when they turned their music up so loud that it was making the water in my glass shake.

I rolled over, put in some earplugs, and pulled my pillow over my head. I finally fell asleep, only to be jarred awake by my phone alarm at 6 a.m.

Life is panning out exactly how I expected it to. I made it to high school. I'm a teenager. I don't have any of the partying and spring break memories I'd hoped for, but it's not bad. I've even sort of assembled a plan for what I want to do after school. And then out of nowhere this boy comes into my life, and it's like gravity shifted my entire world upside down. Everything used to be so clear; I had no trouble picturing the future in my head. But now all of a sudden it's like everything is out of focus except for him. I'm not sure how I feel about this sudden turn of events, but I can tell already - it's gonna be huge.
