What would you do if you found yourself in the middle of an apocalypse? What would you do if during said apocalypse, you found yourself trapped in a room full of strangers? Strangers who are nothing like you.
That's where Alex found themself in. Trapped in a room full of church kids in the middle of a zombie apocalypse.
Will they leave and jump willingly into the arms of flesh-eating zombies or will they stay and try to make friends?
Nothing is ever as it seems. Alex struggles to find their footing in this new world while trying to survive the old one they left behind. It doesn't help that a certain someone keeps panicking every time they mention leaving.

Five kids escaped the lab. That's the easy part. Now they have to survive - mud, hunger, panic attacks, and each other. Alex thinks too much, Ace jokes too loud, Violet worries for everyone, Star hides her heart behind exhaustion, and Ellie just wants to believe the world can still be kind. They're a mess.
