A village lives in fear of the wolf and its power. All the people are supposed to stay inside the walls. Anyone that goes outside the walls just disappears. They all abide but the rules, well all except Mary. A young girl with a wandering mind. In these days wandering thoughts are deadly. Only Mary ponders on a unthinkable idea. The idea that maybe the wolf is not all to blame for the fear and killings in her village.
