Note: there was a moment in the game that hooked me - when Rachel aggressively didn't like Jason's decision to give Salim a gun even after he helped them all so much times. I wondered what if I left her and Salim alone so that they could talk normally. Rachel is a good character, and I think she has a chance to understand that on both sides of the military conflict there are ordinary people who often don't want to kill.
In my story, I followed the canon in which Dar killed Eric.

But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day.
