When seventeen year old Odessa Santos returns to the Philippines for the summer, she expects she will be spending her days working on her tan and perfectly curating her Instagram profile with #summer worthy photos. Upon arriving in Acuña, her mother's hometown, complete with rice paddies and caribou, her vision for the ultimate summer getaway is crushed.
