Lance leaned toward her, bending down and grinning. "Why should I stop? Are you gonna get.. mad?" He laughed and the class burst out into peals of giggles as y/n burst out, shouting, "Just shut the fuck up!" Lance's eyes opened wide, and the teacher who had just strode in snapped his head towards y/n who shrunk down, small tears forming at the corner of her eyes. "Ms. Y/n, I know y/n would never say something like that, because y/n knows better than to harass her classmates. And use vulgar, rude language in the sacred hall of learning." Y/n nodded slowly, muttering, "Yes, sir." The teacher, fuming, jerked his head towards the principal's office and told her to leave immediately. Y/n sulked and trudged out of the classroom, full on crying as she wiped away the tears streaming down her face. Lance stuck his tongue out her and she gave him the middle finger, further shocking the teacher who gasped, and started yelling, "This conduct is not acceptable, Mrs. Y/n!" Y/n strode out, her pride and dignity a little bit restored by the shocked look on Lance's face as she walked up to the office, sitting outside on the cold, hard metal bench.

When a class trip goes wrong, Y/n and Lance, someone who had been constantly pestering and harassing her in front of her class and the whole school must work together to get things straightened out, but after they successfully fix things in the class trip, she meets someone who will throw her life into disarray and excitement.
Y/n's life has substantially changed and she has several crises, at home and at school where her mind begins to drift from its regular routine to new exciting faces. But she continues to ignore the signs as she falls for someone who unexpectedly pops into her life.
