Imperfect Perfection

Ember Woods is a twenty year old student at a private school for kids with special abilities. She's been going there since the age of five to hone her skills. Her and her friends party one night and fight the other side the next. What will happen when four new boys get added to her team? One specifically will get under her skin and test her limits. How will she deal with his cocky smirk and emerald green eyes?

"Don't have one."

"Lame," I tell him.

"Not lame enough for you to not dance with me," he says. "What are you? A goddess?"

"Aphrodite. She's the-"

"Goddess of love," he interjects. Oh, he knows Greek mythology. Can this man get any better?

"Yep."

"It's hot," he says and puts a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"Thanks," I say kind of awkwardly. He's making me flustered, and I'm not used to the feeling. No one has ever made me feel it before. I usually do it to other people.

"You wanna go somewhere with me?" he questions.
