The Muggle-born Brigade

When reading the Marauders Saga by Pengiwen here on Wattpad, I came across the side-arc of some very secondary characters that I found especially intriguing. So, I decided to expand on it and create a series based on their adventures; mostly staying true to the story told by Pengiwen.

On the Marauders fifth year, Remus and Lily become prefects and have to tend to the needs and issues of the Gryffindor first-years, a very particular bunch. Of the seven kids that are sorted into Gryffindor only one is not a muggle-born. It makes for a very interesting dynamic when exploring the magical world through their eyes. Although these seven characters are not canon (in J.K. Rowling's world), many characters from the original Harry Potter Books as well as others created by Pengiwen will appear here and there in the story.

This story follows the lives of Dexter Cardwall, Wally Grant, Liam Harding, Oliver Kent, Darcy McIntire, Macy Struthers and Vivian Warshaw as they embark on their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
