The black river

You are dragging your ex-bestfriends body through the woods, toward a river
A bloody trail left behind. Her screams like music to your ears but it now faded into the darkness leaving you alone in the silence. But so you thought, you stop by the river and place her body in the water, watching as her light body floats down the stream..
Then you hear a deep chuckle from the other side of the river.. a man. Doing the same as you, he spots you and gives a little wave with a mischievous smirk plastered on his face, you wave back.. with the same blood curdling smirk. And at that moment You realised "until death do us apart" isn't a promise, it's a curse
