Roleplay of the Cursed

For years the Cursed have roamed the land, finding no shelter from the weather, beasts, or the magic that inhabit both. The four lands of Nuli, Estais, Sura, and Wicaresse all shunned them. Always alone, never accepted.

Aielith was built to change all that. Or so they say. No one really knows how it was built. Some say the leaders of the kingdoms built it to keep the Cursed away. Others say the Cursed made it appear themselves through their talents and needs. Some say the land itself took pity upon the poor wanderers. All that is known is that it was built in a single night.

The young Cursed are sent to the castle at age ten and released at age twenty. By then most have learned to control the powers that they are burdened with. The ones that had not were executed for years. Later they were simply sent to work at Aielith.

On Emigration Day, the hearts of the people are lifted, the hopes of the child Cursed are dashed, and the adult Cursed may move on to face the world - if they are not permanently attached to Aielith, as many have become over the recent years.
