Jen seems to be a normal girl. A nerd, not a stare-into-a-math-book kind of nerd, but a computer nerd. She has a gaming channel with her best friend, Amy, and together they smile as their subscribers skyrocket. What could possibly go wrong?

On Amy's birthday, Jen is driving back to their apartment flat when she sees Amy lying on the ground in front of the door, not just injured but dead. Jen thought she had the perfect life until that day.

Ever since, Jen has been depressed. She started cutting to get rid of the pain and even attempted to commit suicide, but she was stopped by someone. Someone whose black hair was mystifying and whose voice was calming and whose eyes held many worlds. Who is that, you ask?

Soon, Jen gets her life back around with Phil's help, but she can't let him even grasp her hand without blushing. She begins to record with him and his friend, Dan, and realizes that she's crushing on Phil. Does Phil like her back?
