"Longing"

A tale of two people who were ripped away from everything they'd ever known and made to do horrible things. Decades apart yet their story is nearly the same.

Jesse had been captured 13 years previously. She was tortured, experimented on, trained, and conditioned by a rogue branch of Hydra. After doing their bidding for so long, she was betrayed by her handlers.
When she's taken back to the Avengers compound after being supposedly fatally injured in a failed mission, a certain super-soldier begins to realize he may care for her on a deeper level than he realizes. But will his feelings still be the same once he finds out why she was captured in the first place?
Will any of the rest of them want anything to do with her once they know what she's done?
What will she do if her captors find out she's still alive? Can she ever learn to make peace with herself, and her past?

The Avengers saved her from a certain death at the hands of her captors, but will Bucky be able to save her from herself?
