Akira is called back to Tokyo for summer vacation plans with Ann and their Phantom Thieves family. Only things don't go as expected when they find that the Metaverse has returned and random changes of heart have been happening all over the country. And a strange cop wants to cut a deal with the gang to find out why.

There's also a new friend in the form of a sentient A.I., who claims to be humanity's companion. She's an incredible achievement, who wants to learn more about the human heart, but... Where did she come from? And can the Phantom Thieves help her understand what it means to have true strength of heart?

Warning: The source material for this story contains some subject matters I am not accustomed to writing. Many of these things are unavoidable, as they are necessary for story context. There is a more complete warning inside, should you need it. Heavy swearing is involved and some mature themes, but no smut will be added. As for how much will be included from the story and subplots, depends on whether or not it will be mentioned/needed/explained later.

Her strength showed with the process of taking Madarame down. However, there was one blockde in her mind that she couldn't understand. She constantly worked on making her own heart strong, but had no luck. That was until a new transfer student came along the way and caught her attention..... (OC x Ren Amamiya) For as long she can remember, she lost her parents at a very young age and was raised and adopted by a Chinese-English speaking family that resides in Yongen Jaya along with her stepsister. She had learned how to speak Chinese and has managed really well in Kosei High thanks to her family until she was told that she had to transfer out of Kosei due to unknown reasons. Everyone around her in her current school were wary of her and she almost felt she didn't fit in until she met someone. Context: This is a rewritten fanfiction that was made back in 2019/2020(?). I wanted to restart because I didn't like how the story was going. This would include a lot of special things including spoilers and custom plots which is 100% original. As for the title, it would later be told in the story about the 'other live'. This story begins around the start of Kaneshiro arc, around June 21st. After being thoroughly trounced by the Phantom Thieves, Maruki makes one last ditch attempt to break the theives, and kills Futaba. In his blind rage, Akira Kurusu, otherwise known as Joker takes matters into his own hands, and stops the mad God in his tracks. Time reverts to its original self, with Akechi dead and gone and Maruki and Futaba alive and well, and Akira in Juvinile Detention. After being freed from prison, he finds out that something went wrong when the timeline was restored. Futaba knows him not as her lover, but merely as his friend. Now Akira must find a way to cope with this new life in Hometown, while trying to juggle the return of the Metaverse, and Futaba tries to find her way through the complex feelings she has for Joker, but can't quite explain, as well as the dreams that almost feel like memories. Will she push through and recover her memories and her love? Or will she and Akira both fade into the Mementos of what they have lost. I took a couple liberties with events and the Timeline, but overall, I stayed fairly close to the original game's story. This is a passion project that sprung to mind while driving, and now I'm hyperfixated... Welp, time to churn out a book. ENJOY READING IT!! The former 2nd year Phantom Thieves would finish their 3rd year and graduate becoming legal adults entering into college, that's until there are still more targets to have to change the hearts of. The Cognition of individuals and society, with those reflecting on how they perceive the world leads to places called Palaces. A Palace is a manifestation of "distortion", strong negative or corrupt thoughts that warp the perceptions of people into a hazard for themselves and others. As such, some people can view things how they want to depending on their cognition. One person known as Suguru Kamoshida, is a teacher at Shujin Academy who views the school as his own personal kingdom. He is a lustful, vain, cruel, and utterly selfish bully who abuses his female students emotionally, physically, and sexually, even going as far as pursuing a toxic relationship with ones that he had hooked an eye on. As for the male students, he subjects them to an utterly ruthless training regimen that many of them compare to torture, and will even use as punishment if his team loses a game. As such, he is an utterly cruel and diabolical person until a group stops him known as the Phantom Thieves of Heart. Sick of the deception, hypocrisy, and corruption around them, the Phantom Thieves are devoted to "stealing" the corrupt hearts of evil adults in order to change and reform society for the better. After taking down Kamoshida, their population slowly grew more taking down one target after the next. Before long they were known as a famous group working outside of the law. The Personas they use are formed by individuals who find themselves in the Metaverse and are dealing with feelings of frustration of being wronged or taken advantage of. Each Persona is different for each member of the Phantom Thieves each passing unique and special powers. She did things through Haruka that she had warned Haruka not to do... They just argued, ignored and blocked each other for days and yet they want to stay together...? Neither of them understands. One day, Akira has to go on a trip and on this trip something happens that has to do with her origins and made her delete all her social media accounts and start a new life. Now Akira is 25 years old and works for the Russian mafia. She has her detectives watching Haruka on her journey since the accident and giving her new information about Haruka's life. They had no contact, Haruka was very heartbroken and looked everywhere for Akira, but there was no sign of life anywhere. It was as if she had been swallowed up by the earth.
