A life spent on the outskirts of not only legal society but also outlaw society has kept her off the radar of the most dangerous outlaw in all of No Man's Land but after discovering there may be a magical cure for her mother's degenerative illness, Breeze Sableclaw, seeks help from the one person she's been avoiding her entire life.

Following the supernatural take over of Earth, a wall is built along the Canada border and all of society's surviving undesirables are thrust into a lawless wilderness to fend for themselves, human and supernatural alike. Thirty years on the inhabitants of No Man's Land have carved out a civilisation of sorts around the rubble and broken infrastructure of a city now known as Desolation.
Her current contacts can't get Breeze what she needs to bring her mother back from the brink but the No Man's Land black-market ringleader can. She just hopes coming out of the shadows and revealing her true self will be worth the sacrifice.
