A string
A string wrapped around my finger. A string tied to another. A string tied to that other is my lover. But that string can cut into two with just a pair of scissors.
There are millions and billions of strings in this world, but the focus of this story is on a string that has two knots. One knot is a boy and the other is another boy. They can't see the whole string until they kiss each other. They can't see if they are meant to be until that one kiss....
The one problem is one boy went through a tough past and present. The other didn't give two shits about other people thoughts and opinions, but other did! Two completely different people found each other as best friends, but will they say how they truly feel or stay friends and keep those feelings hidden...
The thing is what would happen if the boy cut the string, or will the other save him, save his lover, from cutting it. But wait there are more problems that keep piling up.....

Okay, so this is another soulmate AU. Surprise surprise. It's the soul string AU, where everyone has a magical string tied to their ring finger. The other end of the string is tied to the ring finger of their soulmate. Every time the two people are close, their soul strings will tense up and start dragging them towards each other. When they touch for the first time, the soul string will disappear until they kiss. If your soulmate is in really really bad emotional or physical pain, your soul string shows up black; just as a little bow around your finger. This story is loosely made for the AU, but it isn't a big part of the story. The mentions of the soul strings pop up sometimes, but that's not all they talk about.
