Zaide the Zombie (A Short Story)

No one told Zaide that the body he was in had issues when he first arrived as a cannon fodder in a novel about the zombie apocalypse.

The development of the novel's story came as no surprize, as Zaide's body has memories of the next five years of the end of the world. Fighting zombies, setting up human settlements, hunting for resources along side his best friend and the novel's protagonist. The original Zaide died, saving the novel's hero and his leading lady and was remembered for decades to come.

What did surprise the new Zaide who transmigrated into the novel, was that instead of stepping out into the end of the world with his new found magical hold-all space powers - on the night of the blood moon and the beginning of the apocalypse, Zaide turned into a zombie.

Please note: This novel has a bit of dark humour and mild swearing.
