It has been eight whole years since Gwen and Y/N took down the Lizard and the Sinister Six as a whole. Eight whole years where they have known peace. The occasion robbery happened and so has the occasional attempt at murder as well, but overall, nothing on the level of being a supervillain.

The two heroes who have been a couple for eight years were in for a rude awakening upon meeting a foreign object from space. This "thing" whether it wanted to or not, would nearly set the city that never sleeps ablaze.
