A man or a woman? A warrior or a dancer? A beautiful form of art, which saved a family and a kingdom. Brihannala and his family have to go incognito for a whole year. Could he accomplish it, because if they fail to disappear it would cost them much more than their lives. The enemies want to find and expose them, how will they hide. Best technique to hide is in plain sight, can they survive till the end of this year?

This is my take on the famous Mahabharata Virata parva. I am no expert in mythology, only knowledge is from the stories I grew up listening and always wondered how it would be if they were just common folks, no godly creatures, no curses, no boons, just simple human, gifted with talent to learn.

It's my first time trying to write what runs in my head, so any comments are welcome to help me improve.

Highest ranking: #9 Romance & #4 in General Fiction!!! WARNING: I wrote this book when I was 17 so there is a ton of grammatical errors so please read at your own risk! *** Marriage is a sacred union tying two people that love each other, together. It brings happiness and blessings. Or that's what it should be. The marriage between traditional Karishma Varghese and the cold-hearted Jai Agarwal was anything but. Horrible circumstances force these two strangers together. Now bound by law, they struggle with feelings of hate in what they think is a loveless marriage, both holding deep, dark secrets, capable of ruining everything. Those very secrets and differences, however, could be what brings these two together in the end. ❧ "Just because we're legally bound together, doesn't mean I love you." He leaned down, spitting out the next words menacingly. "And I never will." I tried to hold back the tears as his amber eyes blazed with anger. "O-okay." "Now, stay out of my fucking personal life or I won't hesitate to ruin yours." As he left, I broke down. The truth was, I never thought that someone could hate me so much that they'd look at me like they wanted to kill me. Especially not if that someone was supposed to be my husband. ❧ Credit to @IamSumayya for making this absolutely gorgeous cover! Thank you so much for taking your time to make it! ❤️ PS. Amba: A Reincarnation of lust for Love of Bhism by Amropali

We are going to see this story from the perspective of Kashi Princess Amba who longed to marry King Shantanu and Ganga Putra Bhism but was brutally rejected by him for several times. What will happen if a 21st century girl, student of Psychology, suddenly discovered herself reincarnated as Princess Amba? What was she had to find herself amidst the political turmoil of India when the fate of a girl was already decided by her patiarchial society long before her birth? Why she went after Bhism after being rejected repeatedly? Would her own 21st century mindset be helpful for her or put prove to be an obstacle in her road? The pressing question was could she change the well known destiny of Princess Amba or not? This is my third story on Mahabharata series. I like this fiesty warrior princess for her struggle through her two different births to avenge her insult. This story is very close to my heart. The time set of this fictional story was both ancient age of India at the time of Mahabharata and also 21st century. This is my original unpublished fan- fiction type story. I did not want hurt anyone's feelings. I just try to unravel the inner psychology of Kashi state's beautiful Princess Amba after rejection by Bhism and her simultaneous transformation to Sikhandini and Sikhandi. My story is loosely based on Mahabharata but in most part of my imagination. All the pictures are taken from the public domains. Images courtesy: Google Chrome and Pinterest.
