Five years ago, Hayden Flloyd would have laughed if you told her she would live till she was twenty three. And laughing wasn't something Hayden did often.
After the death of her adoptive Mother, and abandonship of her non biological Father, Hayden had just about given up her life at only the age of seventeen. And than suddenly she met Ryder, she didn't think anything of him. At least not at first.
Once she got to know this young man, she came to realize that he wasn't who she thought he'd be.

But than his past resurfaced, bringing much surprises, confessions, and heart crushing secrets.

Hayden had learned previously that terrible things happen, but in a blink of an eye she hadn't expected Ryder's life to become nonexistent.

And now, five years later, settled with a fiancè, one who is keeping secrets, Hayden believes she is happy again.

But the thing is, she doesn't remember what being happy feels like.
