Gentle fingers combed through his hair and words of comfort spewed from the vampires lips in a futile attempt to calm him. Wilbur gives the coins and buttons back to the child, along with a small wad of cash. He agrees to find his brother, letting the kid stay at his office while he begins the hunt, scouring the internet, looking for any signs of the boy's disappearance. The clues lead him to a reclusive casino owner with a "devil-may-care" attitude. But something is off. It's just too neat when all fingers point to him. However, Wilbur can't help but question his motives as he finds himself drawn to the casino owner in ways he's never felt before.
