An assassin's job is never done. You can say that again. Blake, Drew, and Canyon are on a mission to take down one of America's largest syndicates, but working as a team may be one of the hardest jobs they've taken on.

With Blake, who scares everyone; Drew who can't keep her hands to her self, and Canyon 2.0, living and killing under one roof is tough.

Throw in people that will do anything to kill them, some awkward car rides, and a crazy mission, this job is really pushing the limit.

Don't forget the romance budding between Drew and a non-assassin, that's always news. But considering Drew is a one night sort of girl, things get past complicated.

Canyons got secrets, some that might seriously cost them. When push comes to shove, shit just might go down.

Can they live to see another day? Probably not.

To beat the Syndicate you need to be crazy. Good thing they're half way there. Answers won't come easy. Not any more.

"Are you sure?"

I look to what could mean death. I didn't fear death, because in my world, fear means you die.

I love the land of the living, but we're condemned to the life of the damned, if I'm being honest.

We literally kill people for a living. And the worst part, is that we kill the killers. We don't work for some private agencies, and kill good people.

No.

We kill the bad guys. The best part? The bad guys are afraid of us.

Besides, bing the anti-hero is way more fun. I don't know how this will end, and I really don't wanna find out. A tiny smirk settled on my lips.

"Hell yeah."

"You ungrateful bitch. I keep a roof over your head, and this is the thanks I get?" "You could have killed her," I retort, trying to muster up confidence that I don't possess. "What if she goes to the cops, Dad? That bruise on her face is enough to get you arrested and charged with assault." "What? You mean when she tripped over the mess you made in the kitchen?" His smile is so wicked that it chills me to my core. "She ain't going to the cops. Hell, she'll probably be back here tomorrow." "You're a bastard," I whisper, tears filling my eyes. "No wonder Mom left! She probably couldn't bear to spend another second with-" I'm pushed to the floor. I scramble backwards as he approaches me, his cheeks scarlet with rage, his pupils the size of needle points. In fourteen years, I've never seen him this mad. I've really done it this time. -------------------- (COMPLETED) Life is hard when nowhere feels like home. For Layla Dodds, there is only one goal: survival. [COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. She had good friends, good grades, a happy family, a loving boyfriend, and an overall content life, seemingly having everything a person could ask for. However, when she somehow gets thrown into the mix and is in the crossfires of a brutal mafia war that she has no business being a part of, things spiral out of control and she has to do whatever it takes to regain her freedom. In this hectic adventure of gun fights, torture, bank robbing and intimidating mafia men, Liza has to face it all, putting her average life on the line in order to defeat the bad guys and go back to her normal way of living.

"With his death I nearly met mine. Till revenge told me to behead the King." Cameron Martinez, an unnoticed girl who lives in Chicago which seems to be Gang Headquarters for the most dangerous gangsters in America. Her oldest brother, Leon, used to be one of them and died because of it, shot in an alley late at night, alone. Leon supported the Martinez family with his earnings from being a gang member while their mother bought dope. With Leon gone, Cameron and her six siblings have rough times financially. She can do one of three things. 1. Join Leon's old gang, the Chicago Kings. 2. Be a stripper like her mother 3. Become a thief Since the first two don't remotely please her, Cameron went with the third choice. But she doesn't steal petty things such as wallets, T.Vs or anything so cheap. She decides to take from those who took the most precious thing from her; the gangs that haunt the streets and terrorize Chicago's citizens. Cameron goes around emptying the pockets of gangsters, stealing the dirty money they don't deserve. Yes, she realizes how dangerous and dumb this is, but she won't let her family starve. People will eventually see Cameron Martinez as a vigilante heroine, but it was never she who did those kind acts. She can't understand how they could think remarkably high of her when she merely wants to put food on the table. * Robbing gangs isn't smart, at all. When the Chicago Kings hear of Cam's doings, they get worried and paranoid. If one insignificant little girl has the balls to steal from them, what will stop everyone else? When Angel Montez, CK enforcer and Leon's best friend gets the command to kill the Vigilante Heroine he has a clear order. One he fully intended to follow through with. What he didn't plan was being interested in her or that she's the younger sister of the dear friend he lost. Now Angel must pick his own destiny instead of following another. COMPLETED BUT EDITING ~~~~🌸~~~~ "Look who joined us boys. If it isn't the GG herself." I rolled my eyes and taped my hands as one of the annoying jocks sauntered my way. "What are you doing here GG? Book club is in the other hallway." I heard his little group laugh and I stood up once I was done taping my hands. Standing at my full height I was only up to his nose, but I didn't care, "You know maybe if your egotistical head wasn't shoved so far up your butt, maybe you could actually make some friends who like you." I turned on my heel and walked to an open mat when the jock who I had just insulted, grabbed my shoulder and turned me to face him, "You can not speak to me like that you Good Girl." I was getting so tired of the nick name, "Then fight me and see how much of a 'Good Girl' I really am." ~~~~🌸~~~~ When Daytona Lyn literally runs into Logan Wylde, things kind of start to go down hill from there. She gets threatened, deceived, and it all takes a toll on her for the worst. Someone even makes it their personal goal to see her suffer to the point of no return. Between the lies, deception, hurt, and everything else that could possibly go wrong in her life, will Logan be able to save her, or will she be too far gone? ******************** #58 in Drama- 09/16/18 #45 in Romance- 07/11/19 #31 in Teen Fiction- 04/14/18 #8 in Teen Fiction- 11/28/18 #3 in Drama -07/24/19 #2 in Humor- 10/3/18 Copyright @maybooks04

"I won't take orders from him!" I yell at Bogo. "You have more in common with him than you think." Bogo rolls his eyes. "I don't give a damn!" I yell. "I'm right here." Blondy says. I couldn't help but groan and throw a punch at Blondy. He falls to the ground and wipes the blood from the corner of his mouth. I stomp away furiously. "I'm never going to listen to him." I mutter to myself. *** Hey! The names Annie! I'm seventeen and am a regular teenager that loves school............. HAHAHAHAH. Just kidding! I'm a teen spy that is anything but regular and the only reason I go to school is for sports. I was adopted into the spy business and lost my original team at age fifteen. I haven't teamed up with another team ever since. I convinced my boss to let me do solo missions but he is a little over protective of me. Well, peace out! I got some guys to kill and some shit to blow up! _______ Highest rating: #5 in action (This was created 4 years ago when I was a beginner at writing so sorry if it sucks! My writing is extremely better as of right now)
