It was a choice to leave a small, urban town in the midwest and move south to Oklahoma. I was freshly graduated and needed a change of pace. The town I used to be in was terrible and everywhere I went, I just felt more and more like an outcast. Tula, Oklahoma sounded like a good place to start over. I've heard nothing but good things about Oklahoma.

Let's just hope the neighbors live up to that.

Y/n had spent the general majority of her life living with her mother, but once her father was discharged from the military due to losing his leg and her mother was jailed for a crime committed in self-defense, she was left to live with her dad. Unable to keep a job and not satisfied with the benefits given to him, the pair moved around a lot. Her dad tells her, for the millionth time, that their home in Tulsa, Oklahoma would be permanent. Of course, she doesn't believe him, but she finds herself drawn to a particular person-a person who poses a complete mystery to Y/n.
