➳ Selling your soul saves your wife, but the effects of this choice aren't as good as you had wished ➳
"Five years you have been married to your wife. Five years you have had the time of your life, enjoying your time out in the wilderness and woods. It was after those five years that your wife ended up sick. She's still sick, getting worse by the day.
No doctor can figure out what is wrong with her, only knowing that she's getting worse by the day. Her usual silky short hair has turned hard, feeling like sticks almost. You can't even brush her hair anymore or else it begins to fall out. Her usual fair skin has grown so pale that she's as white as a Snowdrop. Not even the rosiness of her cheeks are there anymore, only replaced with that blank sheet of white."
☢ This was originally created for an assignment in my english class and decided to publish it here. Please do not try to take credit for my story as I will be extremely aggrivated and not too happy. It is a retelling of 'A Deal with the Devil'. It is also told in 2nd POV, with no assigned gender for the reader ☢
