The sun had just risen to the center of the sky. Looking up, all you can see are dark clouds getting ready to pour down freezing cold rain in Yellowstone National Park. Melting snow covering the grassy plains and rocky mountains. Almost everywhere you looked, trees covered the surrounding mountains and fields. A dark forest lies in front of Lamar River, two wolves walk on the muddy ground, traveling for a very long time, never stopping until they reach the end.

She doesn't speak, nor talk to anyone, never made a sound since she was 8 months old. Her coat is as black as the night sky, her eyes brown as the dirt trees grow out of. She has a grey underbelly like the stormy sky that is shown today, walking with her sister, named after the stormy days, that pass through the days of a wolf's life. Ravens circle something on the ground, hidden away something lurks. Curiosity never ends in this world, nor does fear.

Lily has finally found her mate. After being kidnapped, turned into a wolf and falling down countless trees its about time. Yet, even through all the perfect mushy things, something still seems off. Her mind keeps flickering to a certain somebody and there comes the question of: Was it a mistake? They say that when a werewolf finds their mate, they will be able to identify him from miles away. It comes at an instant. One minute you will still be falling through trees and the next you'll be faced with him. You'll be face with the dark hair, the perfect sculptured face. Everything will be perfect. Every puzzle piece will somehow fall into place and there will be no more sign of loss, anger, betrayal or even hatred. All those feelings will disappear and you'll be confronted with the most glorious feeling of happiness, love and lust. All directed at ONE specific person. Yet, when I dazedly looked at those two wolves staring at me - black spots and dizziness creating six godlike figures, those sirens did not halt as my eyes flickered between them. Here was two men. One I've known my whole life. We've shared a lifetime together. Those chocolate orbs eyes always glinting mischievously. And there was the person I've known for a few weeks. We've shared moments together I could only imagine spending with my mate. But that had only been because of the heat? Or had it been. I slowly blinked once more, my eyelids only becoming heavier. Inside my head my wolf was howling, the sound making the thudding in my head only worse. There were two men. Two equally important. But who was the one I was destined to be with?

They took me to the hospital and saved my life." I say "What were your wounds?" He aks. "Nope my turn. What is this place?" I ask knowing I'm testing his patience but he is obviously boss here and I want answers. "My pack." He answers "your injuries?" I dont know how to answer that so I turn away from him. I dont know what hurt me only the marks it left. "Answer ME!" His words make me stiffen and I feel my hands reach for the bottom of my shirt. I slide it off and turn to the man. A stand there chest exposed. I'm boney from lack of food and bruised from my foster father and brother. Amid all the fresh brusing three white lines stand out stretching from my shoulder to my hip. "This is what they were healing!" I yell trying not to cry. I remember the pain of the marks when they were fresh. Feeling embarrassed I put my shirt back on. "Rouges." The man whispers. "Those bruses." Ruby says from behind me. "The "Love" of my "family."" I tell her. "My turn." I say and the man turns back to me as he was facing the other adults. He raises his eyebrow and I take it as permission to continue. "What are rouges?" "Packless werewolves." He says. My jaw drops. werewolves? WEREWOLVES!? What the? "They are just a story." I say. "You know better than that." He says.
