As children, we believe that nothing will change. That everything in our life will stay the same. Family is blood. Our friendships will last forever. Promises are meant to be kept. 

This is a story about Nelly Moore has realized throughout the years that everything she had believed as a child is a lie. The bonds were shattered. Not all families are blood-related. Friendships don't last forever.
